Progress Through Passion

“Passion without focus is movement without progress.”

Effect is proportional to effort, but results are not guaranteed by effort alone. It is the intention behind the effort that matters most.

What are you passionate about? It is important to be exceedingly honest with yourself when answering that question, because

Passion + Effort = Satisfaction

The opposite is also true. Passion without focus is movement without progress.

When you start with purpose, proceed with passion, and apply sustained effort, you are more apt to enter a state of flow. In flow, you lose track of time and become completely and utterly absorbed in a task. Many describe this as an optimally enjoyable experience.

After all, time flies when you’re having fun.
